My mum was rather fussy so we had to put it in a microwave before she ate it and I must admit it tasted alot worse cold!

Ingredients:
- 3 beaten eggs
- 175g unsalted butter
- 175g caster sugar
- 150g self raising flour
- 1/2 tsp of baking powder
- oil
- 3 tbsp of cocoa powder
8.100g of milk chocolate
9.200ml of double cream
10.100g plain flour
Method:
- Grease the cake tins and line the bases. Cream the butter and sugar together in a bowl until they are light and fluffy.Gradually beat in the eggs.
- Preheat the oven to 180 deg c. Sieve the flour,cocoa powder and baking powder into the bowl and fold them into the creamed mixture.
- Divide the mixture equally betwwen the cake tins, smoothing the tops with a palette knife. Bake for 20-25 minutes or firm.
- Turn the cookes cakes onto a cooling rack. Break the chocolate into a bowl and gently melt them over a pan of simmering water.
- Remove the bowl from the pan. Allow the chocolate to cool for 5 minutes and then stir in the cream. Leave the mixture to thicken for a few minutes.
- Make sure the cakes are completely cool befoere the putting on the topping over it.
- Put the other cake on top and spoon over the rest of the topping. Spread it over the top and sides intil the cake is evenly coated. Leave to set.
